BlackSmith Studios, better known as BSS, was an international marketing, VFX and architectural visualization studio based in London, UK. A multiple award winning studio with clients including Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Grey, IPG, Heineken, HSBC, Volkswagen and more, BSS quickly grew and became a leader in a number of spaces including a VFX studio for film and TV commercials as well as an marketing strategy arm that advised a number of blue chip, Fortune 500 companies in Europe, North America and Asia. One of the founders, Rob Smith, won Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012 primarily based on his work during his tenure as CEO of BSS. The company was segmented and sold in the summer of 2012.
