About Goozex
Goozex is a peer-to-peer trading platform based on a virtual currency where members can trade video games at the cost of only $1 per game. Goozex was created in July 2006 when its founder, Jon Dugan, was frustrated when he went to a retail store to trade in some old games and experienced first-hand the huge mark-up that the store applies on their used games. He decided to create a business that would cut-out the middleman and offer better value for used video games and soon thereafter Goozex was born. Today, Goozex is a peer to peer video game trading platform that allows users to trade their games for points which they can then use to purchase other games. Users pay a $1 trade fee to purchase a game, but selling games is free.
