Nullsoft is an online music media company, providing software for mp3 playback and media streaming. It created Winamp currently used by AOL as a community supported media play and was a pioneer in the digital media space. Nullsoft also created SHOUTcast, Gnutella, and NSIS. Nullsoft was purchased by AOL in 1999. In January 2014, Radionomy acquired Winamp and Shoutcast from AOL.
