Erik Harrell, founder and CEO of PrintConnect.net, developed the idea for PrintConnect in November 1998 after meeting with a range of print buyers and suppliers and finding that there was significant "pain" that existed in today's manual and paper based business processes. These print buyers and suppliers were looking for a better and less "painful" way of doing business together. Harrell felt strongly that the Internet was the answer to the pain each print buyer and supplier endured on every print job.
