About ADBioplastics
ADBioplastics is a startup dedicated to the development and commercial exploitation of tailor-made additives and bioplastics, a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic, based on highly polluting fossil fuels, to promote the circular economy. Our products are bio-based from the origin, as they are produced from corn, sugar cane and sugar beet, and are compostable. The material disintegrates 100% in three months in an industrial composting process. This is a process that will help to meet the EU Plastics Reduction Strategy 2030, as well as contributing to making the world a better place to live, our motto. With our additive ‘ADBio PLA+’ and bioplastic ‘PLA-Premium’, we improve the properties of virgin PLA, such as: - Higher OTR/WVTR barrier - Improved thermal stability and mechanical properties - Processability All this meets the requirements of the following sectors: packaging (food & beverage and cosmetics), textile, construction, 3D printing, medical, consumer goods and agriculture.
