Alusid’s SilicaStone is a new material made from fused recycled glass and ceramics. Alusid uses waste products from the glass ceramic and foundation industries to make some of the highest percentage recycled architectural surfaces on the market, Alusid’s technology enables production of desirable products on existing equipment. Their aim is to reduce the impact of the ceramic tile industry by making quality products while using less energy.
