About Ave Maria University
Ave Maria University (AMU) is a liberal arts institution that adheres to a Catholic mission, and offers a challenging academic curriculum in a welcoming environment. AMU is located in scenic Southern Florida, within short driving distance to Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, and Naples. It has impressive library facilities, and a campus that depicts the famous design work of Frank Lloyd Wright. The school awards undergraduate and graduate degrees in fields such as: * American Studies * Business Administration * Global Affairs and International Business * Managerial Economics * Mathematics * Pastoral Theology * Political Economy and Government * Psychology AMU also gives students the opportunity to spend a semester in Rome, Italy, or San Marcos, Nicaragua, through its study abroad program. Need-based financial aid is available to those who qualify for study abroad programs as well as other academic programs offered at the school. There are numerous sources of financial aid that can supplement the cost of tuition: grants, private loans, scholarships, work study and more. As far as college life is concerned, AMU provides students with many ways to get involved and meet new friends, from the on-campus housing experience to dozens of student-run clubs and organizations. AMU has a career center that takes pride in helping students find employment after graduation. Staff members can assist graduates with setting goals and gaining some experience through internships or other professional opportunities.
