AvMap is the Italian multinational present worldwide in the satellite navigation market since 1994. Since 1994 in the GPS sector, AvMap has known its developments and influenced its trends. Born within the C-MAP group, world leader in marine electronic cartography, AvMap turned to professionals and institutions, debuting with EKP, the aeronautical navigator whose evolution has marked the progress of GPS technology for aircraft. Subsequently, AvMap exploits the know-how of electronic cartography to land in the terrestrial field, and is already established as a manufacturer when the boom of devices accessible to the public explodes.
