About Bay de Noc Community College
The Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba, Michigan, offers quality educational programs and job skills training in a personalized learning environment. The school believes that a well-rounded education is supplemented by extracurricular activities, which is why its Student Activities Center hosts many events for an active student life, from drama performances to leadership seminars. The school offers baccalaureate transfer programs in a wide variety of fields, like arts and humanities, mathematics, psychology, social sciences and more. For students looking to enter the workforce, the school has an associate’s degree occupational program and certificate programs. Admissions are open, allowing any student who has earned a high school diploma or GED and who has taken the ACT or SAT within the last three years the opportunity to attend. Non-degree seeking students are not required to have taken a standardized test. Tuition is set lower for Michigan residents than for out-of-state residents. Students who complete a FAFSA will be considered to receive financial aid through institutional scholarships, federal Pell grants, SEO grants, Academic Competitiveness grants, Michigan Tuition Incentive Program and more.
