About Center for Economic Growth
The Center for Economic Growth is a business-driven, member-supported, not-for-profit corporation established in 1988 to promote the economic growth of New York's Capital Region. CEG and the Capital Region Technology Development Council merged in October 1993, forming a single economic development organization dedicated to business attraction, expansion and retention initiatives. CEG's mission is to promote and market New York's Capital Region as a prime business location and to provide management and technical assistance to existing businesses. CEG serves Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington Counties of New York State.
