About Center for Matter under Extreme Conditions
The Center for Matter under Extreme Conditions leads research and technological breakthroughs in High Energy Density Physics (HEDP), with a focus on the creation and diagnosis of extreme states of matter, both un-magnetized and magnetized, utilizing novel combinations of HED drivers to train future scientists, and developing a physics understanding of HED systems using both modeling and experiments.
