About Charity Defense Council
The Charity Defense Council is a brave new leadership organization for the charity sector. Their mission is to correct misconceptions about charity that compromise nonprofit effectiveness. Their goal is singular and bold: to change how the donating public thinks about changing the world. Their founder Dan Pallotta's 2013 TED Talk "The Way they Think About Charity Is Dead Wrong" described the problem and got the conversation started. Now, they're building a movement to create a lasting solution.
