About Chesapeake Innovation Center
The CIC is a hybrid incubator/accelerator that serves early stage technology companies, helping them grow from pre-revenue to full business maturity. Located adjacent to the gates of Fort Meade, home to key federal facilities such as the National Security Agency, Defense Information Systems Agency and U.S. Cyber Command, the CIC leverages its location and connections to benefit member technology companies and established businesses interested in technology transfer opportunities. At the center of the CIC’s strong curriculum is its business development services and well-developed network of resources which are vital in helping innovative young companies grow to the next level. For foreign companies, the CIC can serve as a soft landing for businesses wanting to learn more about or expand into the U.S. market.
