Circadian rhythms are essential for leading the human body through its daily cycle, governing a number of factors such as body temperature, cardiovascular efficiency, melatonin production, and, crucially, sleep. Circadian Therapeutics is aiming to replace hospital-based, expensive diagnostics through the development of a home-based ambulatory electroencephalogram (EEG) device that will provide accurate and minimally intrusive measurement of brain function and circadian rhythms.
