About Circe Industries
Circe is a startup that aims to transform greenhouse gases into biodegradable products. It offers a platform that utilizes engineered microbes to produce synthetic polymers that can be used to manufacture a wide variety of products with a smaller carbon footprint and environmental impact. These polymers can then be used to make bioplastics, biodegradable polyesters, and more. Circe integrates this process into a platform that enables greenhouse gases created by industrial processes to be harvested and converted into valuable polymers. The Circe project is led by Shannon Nangle and Marika Ziesack, both Research Scientists at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University.
