Claremont School of Theology (CST), a higher learning institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church, strives to give its students a diverse theological education that is relevant to modern-day society and the issues facing the world. Master’s and doctoral degree programs are offered in the following disciplines: * Arts * Divinity * Ministry * Ministry, Leadership, and Service The school even provides classes in Korean for bilingual ministerial education. Degrees are designed to prepare students for future careers in church leadership, counseling, education, ministry, and more. There is an active college life at CST: students frequently come together for chapel services, meals, social events, and volunteer work. Various cultural and faith-based associations and groups also have a presence on campus for those who want to join others who have similar interests. Requirements for admissions to degree programs at the school include an application and fee, personal statement, resume and transcripts. Applicants who learned English as a second language may need to submit TOEFL scores as well. CST gives eligible students financial aid to help with tuition costs. Institutional scholarships based on merit and need are available in addition to federal work-study programs and private loans.
