Around 5% of all concrete goes to waste, costing the UK alone over £400 million annually. Cloud Cycle has developed an intelligent IoT and cloud platform that digitises concrete in transit. Our proprietary on-truck sensors and edge devices continuously measure consistence, temperature, water additions, and mixing behaviour, giving producers real-time visibility from batch plant to pour. By preventing over-watering, reducing cement over-design, and eliminating rejected or wasted loads, Cloud Cycle helps ready-mix suppliers cut costs, boost quality, and reduce carbon emissions. Even when surplus occurs, our surplus concrete marketplace finds local buyers ’ creating a true circular economy for concrete. Cloud Cycle’s technology is already used by leading global cement and concrete producers across Europe and the Middle East.
