About Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development
COAD is a private, non-profit community-based organization that serves rural, predominantly Appalachian, counties in eastern and southern Ohio. It is made up of 17 Community Action Agencies that cover a 30-county area. Community Development, Early Care and Education, and Senior Programs are the three core program divisions of COAD. COAD also provides scholarship aid and opportunities for leadership development, early childhood education, community development, senior programs, AmeriCorps seniors, and weatherization services.
