CPC Integrated Health began offering mental health services as a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to Monmouth County citizens. This was in reaction to the campaigning of a group of parents who were unable to obtain the sort or amount of therapeutic services required for their children with severe emotional and developmental issues. Over the next decade, in response to resident demands, CPC expanded its services to include mental health and substance abuse therapy for serious and persistently mentally ill individuals.
