About Credwise
Credwise is a VC-funded fintech startup founded by IIT alumni. It aims to democratize how people use credit in India for their family expenses. We all know that credit is the preferred mode of payment for any transaction. Unfortunately, the majority of Indians don't have access to credit. That's why India sees more than 60% of credit card owners sharing their cards with their close friends and family. But currently, sharing credit cards is painful and highly insecure as actual card numbers and OTPs need to be shared. Credwise is an easy-to-use and secure platform that allows anyone in India to ask for credit and share credit with their loved ones. India's credit card penetration is growing rapidly, but it still has a long way to go before it matches most western countries. With Credwise, we aim to ensure that the Indian economy becomes more credit-tolerant.
