About Dickinson School of Law of Penn State University
The Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University (PSU) has degree and joint degree programs for college seekers who desire careers in the legal field, and often ranks among the top 100 law schools in the country. Academics are intensive and programs can take a few years to complete. JD and LLM degree programs are offered at the university. Joint programs are provided as well in collaboration with other PSU graduate school campuses. Some of the joint degree options include: * JD/Doctor of Higher Education (PhD or DEd) * JD/Master of Business Administration * JD/Master of Science in Human Resources and Employment Relations * JD/Master of Science in Information Systems * JD/PhD in Forest Resources or Wildlife and Fisheries Science The curriculum at the school entails real-world application and experiences through journal publications, moot court, national trial competitions, and trial advocacy. Beyond the classroom, PSU Law has an active college life for students to further their experiences and learning. Opportunities to give back to the community and come together for social and recreational events are available to students. To be considered for admissions to the school, prospective students must submit the following: * Completed application and fee * Personal statement * Recommendation letters * Resume * TOEFL scores (for those who obtained their education abroad) * Transcripts Applicants should also fill out a FAFSA to determine financial aid eligibility for grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study.
