About Dimensional Imaging
Dimensional Imaging designs and develops human body 3D and 4D surface image capture and analysis solutions. It offers DI3D, a facial 3D capture system that is used for treatment and planning in various fields, including oral and maxillofacial surgery, and orthodontics applications; visual perceptions; the manufacture of facial splints for use in the treatment of facial burns and radiotherapy shells; and the manufacture of foot orthoses and ankle foot orthoses. Dimensional Imaging also provides DI3Dcapture, a 3D capture and viewing software that integrates image capture and 3D processing into one application; and DI3Danalyse, a 3D analysis software that provides analysis on 3D scans. In addition, it offers DI3Dtransfer, a 3D content creation software that enables to create 3D content for various applications, including game character creation and stimuli for psychological experiments; 4D capture systems that capture stereo video sequences of the scene; and 4D facial animation software. Dimensnal Imaging's solutions have applications in life sciences and entertainment industries in the United Kingdom and internationally. Virtual Clones that began operation in 2002 later became Dimensional Imaging in April 2005, with its headquarters in Glasgow in the United Kingdom.
