Originally launched by Hangame in 2005, the game underwent various releases, being named Arad Senki in Japan and published in China by Tencent. In 2014, Neople conducted an alpha test for a global version of Dungeon Fighter Online, utilizing the last English version previously hosted by Nexon, which has since concluded. With a staggering player base exceeding 850 million worldwide and lifetime revenue surpassing $20 billion as of December 2021, Dungeon Fighter Online holds the distinction of being one of the most-played and highest-grossing video games ever, solidifying its position as one of the most successful entertainment media products in history.
