Areas of study include professional and pre-professional degrees, academic programs and courses in basic skills. Eastern Wyoming is also small, personal and friendly, both in and out of class. Eastern Wyoming College is located in the rural town of Torrington, Wyoming. This small town atmosphere can also be found on campus amid the tight-knit student body and faculty. This is especially beneficial in the classroom, where students get to work closely with faculty. Programs of study encompass professional, academic and creative fields like: * Art * Cosmetology * Criminal Justice * Education * English * Music * Veterinary Technology Graduates of these programs have the option of either continuing on to a four-year school or beginning a career. Eastern Wyoming also offers a number of pre-professional programs for those interested in pursuing medical and dental professions. The Bridge Program, which is designed for students who need to improve basic reading and math skills, is another option at Eastern Wyoming. After going through The Bridge, participants are then eligible to enroll in an Eastern Wyoming degree program. When applying to Eastern Wyoming you will need to fill out an application and complete the COMPASS entrance exam. It is also highly recommended that you submit transcripts or a copy of your GED and ACT or SAT scores. Eastern Wyoming College offers need-based financial aid awards like Pell grants, work-study money and loans. Eastern Wyoming also provides information about outside scholarship programs.
