Ekomarine Paint offers efficient ecological nontoxic coating to prevent marine fouling. A product that allows legislators to limit the use of heavy metals and other biocides in the marine environment. The technology behind Ecomarine's unique color NeptuneFormula is based on the fact that microorganisms in the sea create a growth protection by breaking down some components in the color. The plant protection consists of a thin, low-fat layer closest to the boat hull. In this low-oxygen layer, sea tulips do not flourish. The technology has no negative environmental impact and has therefore been excluded from the European Chemicals Agency - the ECB's requirement for registration under the Biocidal Products Directive.
