About EUPONS European Forum for Positive Neuroscience
Europe is at a turning point. Crises, divisions and fears for the future are present. However, the real resource of our continent does not lie in raw materials or markets – but in its people, in their ideas, in their intellectual, emotional and motivational strength. A Europe that turns politics into inspiration. EUPONS stands for this vision. We want to contribute to unleashing Europe’s potential: through science, education, cooperation and a culture of flourishing. EUPONS promotes the open exchange of ideas, experiences and perspectives on the latest developments at the interface between positive psychology and positive neuroscience. When people flourish, Europe flourishes too The neuroscientific findings of the last decade and international positive psychology research clearly show that when we live and work with a focus on positive emotions, supportive relationships, meaningfulness and self-efficacy, we strengthen our mental and physical health, creativity, motivation and confidence. And create a future worth living that is much more than just a reaction. It is a future that we Europeans shape ourselves. EUPONS The European Forum for Positive Neuroscience (EUPONS) is a European platform for the promotion of research, dialog and transfer in the field of the neuroscientific foundations of human learning, well-being and social resilience. In this way, we promote evidence-based, European networked knowledge development that focuses on both scientific excellence and practical feasibility. Together we research, discuss and teach innovative approaches to unleash human potential and improve the quality of life in Europe. The Forum clearly distances itself from ideological, missionary or esoteric perspectives. We are committed to scientific neutrality. about us Flourishing Minds – Flourishing Europe is a departure towards a continent of human growth. Our aim is to combine science with social relevance: We want to create spaces for interdisciplinary exchange between neuroscience, psychology, education, medicine, business and politics – for the well-being of people, with a particular focus on Europeans. EUPONS initiates and supports European research and development projects and tests them in practice. EUPONS supports the transfer of knowledge in education, health and the world of work and promotes political discourse on the sustainable development of a society that is fit for learning and the future. The European Forum for Positive Neuroscience (EUPONS) is a project of the German Institute for Motivation (D.I.M.GmbH). EUPONS membership is a community access to the project’s services. It is not a club membership, but a service and participation option. We cordially invite you, as a scientist, as a user and/or as a person interested in human development, to become part of this pan-European initiative that puts neuroscientific knowledge at the service of the well-being of all and thus contributes to a resilient, inclusive and pioneering European future.
