About Excelsior University
While Excelsior College is located in Albany, New York, you don’t need to live there to benefit from one of their undergraduate or graduate degree options. Committed to educating the adult learner, Excelsior College offers more than 30 programs through various means, including its online programs which allow individuals to pursue degrees from wherever they are. Consequently, Excelsior has a student body of 30,000, most of whom reside in states other than New York. Programs at Excelsior include bachelor’s, master’s and associate degrees and certificates awarded in such fields as Liberal Studies, Nursing, Business, Technology, and Health Sciences. Excelsior also has dual-degree options such as a master’s in Health Care coupled with an MBA. In addition to distance learning options, Excelsior offers its local students flexible scheduling with classes during the day, evening and weekend. Excelsior also makes it easy on students by accepting transfer credits earned at other schools. Since much of an Excelsior education takes place online, students may also benefit from Excelsior’s career counseling through online means as well. Loans, grants, scholarships from individual programs and military aid are some of the financial resources available for eligible Excelsior students.
