About EXO-L
EXO-L is an external ankle ligament designed to offer protection against spraining ankles without interrupting the athlete’s freedom of movement. It is used by athletes playing more than 30 different sports. The design of EXO-L is based on research carried out at the Delft University of Technology and the Erasmus Medical Center. It is attached on the outside of a low-cut shoe with a fastening element and rests on the malleoli. The product is custom-made with the use of 3D scan and 3D print. EXO-L was launched in 2012 and is produced in Delft, The Netherlands.
