FRETX is a smart device that can be attached to the guitar fretboard which transforms musical pieces into a succession of light signals while making it easier and interactive to play guitars. It shows just-learning guitarists where to put their fingers on the fretboard to help them with their chord and scale playing. A mobile app then sends Bluetooth signals with chosen chord fingerings that tells the FRETX which lights to illuminate. FRETX is a France-based company that was founded in 2015.
