GreenHeads is a greentech initiative based in Sweden developing lightweight, modular, and soil-free green roof systems designed for widespread adoption in residential and urban buildings. By combining material science and urban sustainability, GreenHeads enables rooftops to support vegetation without structural upgrades or complex installation. The solution helps cool buildings, reduce stormwater runoff, and restore urban biodiversity. Supported by LU Innovation, Almi, and the City of Trelleborg, GreenHeads is currently in the R&D phase, preparing for pilot testing and future commercialization across Europe.
