The Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville, Georgia, offers programs that deliver real-world education to help you gain the knowledge needed to either begin a new career or advance your current path. The college has developed a curriculum that serves the industry-validated specifications for a guaranteed career training and education. Academics offered at the college include credit programs for students seeking a degree, diploma or certificate. Programs are offered in fields like Business and Finance, Public Safety and Service, Visual Arts and Design and Horticulture. Continuing education and adult education programs are also available. Admissions require applicants to be at least 16 years of age. Cosmetology and health program students must be at least 17 and paramedic technology students must be 18 and over. Forms of assistance include Georgia’s HOPE program, scholarships, federal grants, loans and work study programs.
