After the success of the first in-circuit emulators, Hitex began marketing worldwide: the company founded a branch in Great Britain and is represented by sales partners in all other important regions of the globe. In 1997, Hitex acquired the development tools branch of Kontron, thereby strengthening its position in the market. Since the beginning of 2003, Hitex belongs to Infineon Technologies AG.
