About Home WiP
HomeWiP empowers homeowners to add living space fast and build wealth with home equity. Our mission is to help people build more housing in their backyard (or encourage small builds elsewhere). HomeWiP has the largest collection of configurable small homes (500+) to select from on demand. Backyards are small, it is important to understand how the new building will impact the backyard and how it will look next to existing main home. Our app gives a chance to browse different pre-designed models and select exterior look that fits best. A user can walk in and see what is inside. They can also look out to see the view from the windows. We make sure our models are true to size, and the user will have options for various kitchen and bathroom layouts, wall colors, finish of appliances, window style and exterior decor. The user can then share the selected model with their builder to confirm their selections and stay on the same page. Same models can be built by various builders in different locations.
