Kaua’i Hemp Company was founded with the goal of bringing about a new era of organic farming and sustainable agriculture in Hawaii by producing hemp-derived CBD and CBG products from Hawaii that are cultivated responsibly. Hawaii has a long history of developing agricultural-based industries, including those centered on sugarcane, pineapples, and tropical flowers. But over the past few decades, our community’especially on Kauai’has seen a large portion of our property leased to huge ag and seed businesses from out of state, who use traditional agricultural practices that involve the use of harmful pesticides that have a number of unfavorable side effects.
