Kirkland Lake Gold is a Canadian gold producer and explorer with assets in the Kirkland Lake gold camp, which is located in the Lower Abitibi Greenstone belt of northeastern Ontario. The Company owns five former high-grade gold mines that produced in excess of 22 million ounces at an average grade of 15.1 grams per tonne. The Company currently operates the Macassa Mine Complex, which includes the newly discovered South Mine Complex, and produces in excess of 150,000 ounces of gold annually. Through continued exploration success, the Company intends to gradually increase its level of production in order to become a mid-tier gold producer that focuses on profitability and provides quality returns for its shareholders and stakeholders alike.
