Founded in 2023 by Justin Meretab, a former product leader at Square, and Daniel O'Neel, a former engineering leader at Wealthfront, Layer provides APIs that allow platform customers to pass financial data from SMBs to Layer's system. This enables SMBs to manage their finances without needing separate software.
