The modest company of "boiler-sheet-body-bodywork" founded in 1933 by Leopold Lenzi was only to move towards the Street Lighting 20 years later, on the occasion of the great restoration of the sites and monuments of the city of Paris . Holder of repair contracts for old luminaires selected by the Commission des Sites, the company, which had specialists in the realization of the most complex elements, had to quickly manufacture complete sets, given the success of the installations of the Champs-Elysées Avenue de l'Opera, Rue de Rivoli, Montmartre listed site, Place de la Concorde, Marais district, Palais Royal.
