We were born in Pelourinho, Salvador, with a simple purpose: to "alumiar" (in our accent, that means "to illuminate"!) people's minds through an AI that speaks like us. Lumia is a virtual mental health assistant that combines cutting-edge technology with Northeastern Brazilian warmth, offering 24/7 support via voice and text chat. Our algorithm was trained with data from Brazilian psychologists and even has a "conversa de calçadão" (sidewalk chat) mode to keep things human.
