The largest university in Tennessee, Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in Murfreesboro offers a vast range of degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Divided among distinctive colleges, MTSU’s academics cover a broad spectrum of subject areas including Aerospace, Agribusiness, Criminal Justice, Electronic Media, Engineering Technology, Military Science, Music, Nursing, Sociology and Theatre. Further expanding MTSU’s academic scope, there are also a number of interdisciplinary majors that combine more than one subject area. Guaranteed admissions are offered to students who meet certain GPA and standardized test requirements. Those who do not meet these requirements will be evaluated according to other factors such as extracurricular and community service activities.
