MOEBIOS is an EU-funded project aimed at revolutionizing plastic waste management in Europe by developing separate recycling streams specifically for bioplastics in three key industries: packaging, agriculture, and textiles. The project focuses on bioplastics that currently lack established recycling methods, such as PLA, PHA, PBS, PEF, and PBAT. Its goal is to create new recycling value chains that transform bioplastic waste from these sectors into high-quality, virgin-equivalent recycled products while integrating with existing industrial recycling lines.
