The National Association of Broadcasters is a trade association that represents the interests of free over-the-air radio and television broadcasters. The association is focused on lobbying the federal communications commission (FCC) for regulations favorable to the radio and television industry; maintaining a favorable legal, governmental, and technological climate for free over-the-air broadcasting; providing legal guidance to NAB members; protecting the industry from the inroads made by cable and satellite television; offering broadcasters a variety of programs to help them grow in their careers, promote diversity in the workplace, and strengthen their businesses; and more.
