About National Indian Health Board
The National Health Board is a charitable organization that provides health-care advocacy, facilitates tribal budget consultation, and provides timely information and other services to all tribal governments. Whether tribes contract and compact their health care delivery systems and receive health care directly from IHS, NIHB is their advocate. Because the NIHB serves all federally recognized tribes, its work must accurately, fairly, and culturally sensitively reflect the unity and diversity of tribal beliefs and viewpoints.
