The National Transportation Exchange, Inc. is an electronic commerce system allowing Members to improve their transportation functions. It provides a real-time, neutral platform for member shippers who tender loads, as well as the direct service carrier members, which tender the available space capacity of their moving trucks. The system is based on state of the art technology and software, which incorporate the dynamic elements of time, distance, and highly sophisticated lane specific transportation pricing models. These combinations allow NTE to capitalize on available transportation capacity as it moves from origin appointments to destination appointments in a real time environment.
