Nearthlab is a technology-driven start-up founded by MS and PhD graduates in aerospace engineering from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). It provides autonomous drone solutions powered by proprietary deep-learning algorithms for safety inspection in the wind and renewable energy sectors. It has developed AI technology enabling autonomous flight under low-computing power and low-latency environment and has 20+ patents in Korea and overseas. Nearthlab’s products consist of NearthWIND Pro (the autonomous drone for wind turbine inspection detecting cracks and damages by AI), Zoomable (the cloud-based data platform for inspection data management and analysis), and NearthWIND Mobile (the mobile-based autonomous flight control solution).
