Nine Star is a multi-channel retailer of equipment and apparel related to the skate, surf, snow and BMX action sports categories. Its first prototype store in West Los Angeles ΓöÇ a retail and entertainment Action Sports Center ΓöÇ opened in November 2003. After the success of its prototype store which has exceeded industry averages in terms of sales per square foot, Nine Star is rolling-out the concept nationally, starting with other locations across Southern California.
