About Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College
Ogden-Weber Tech College in Ogden, Utah, offers short-term training for some of today’s most in-demand occupations. Classes are highly flexible, and training is hands-on and uses the most current technologies, tools and methods. Students also get the chance to participate in nationwide competitions. Ogden-Weber offers more than 50 professional certifications in such fields as: * Business * Healthcare * Manufacturing * Service professions Classes take place throughout the year, and are available during the daytime, in the evening and online. Schedules are so flexible that students may even elect to spend anywhere from seven to 30 hours per week in school. Depending on how many hours students choose to spend in class, they could complete their training in anywhere from six to 12 months. Students also get hands-on practice in the classroom, as well as through internships and externships and at national skills competitions. Ogden-Weber awards federal grants and loans. Loan and grant amounts vary depending on each applicant’s determined financial need. Students may also qualify for academic scholarships, based on their academic performance. Veteran’s benefits are available as well. Admissions to Ogden-Weber are open to just about anyone who wants to attend and has a sincere interest in receiving career training. Most programs don’t even require a high school diploma or GED.
