Other Parents Like Me (OPLM) isn't just a website’it's a lifeline for caregivers and guardians navigating the turbulent waters of their children's mental health and/or substance struggles. Imagine it as an extended family, always there to provide guidance, comfort, and understanding during some of life's most challenging moments. Founded by individuals with a deeply personal connection to these issues, OPLM offers a comprehensive array of resources and support. From live support groups led by trained and paid peer parent facilitators, carefully monitored for quality assurance, to expert speakers and a rich hub of resources, we're here to ensure no caregiver feels alone on their journey. Our daily Zoom support groups cater to diverse needs, with sessions ranging from early morning to late night, ensuring accessibility for all. These include men's, women's, book club, self-compassion, solo mom, and more, addressing not just the time but also identity-based needs. At OPLM, we understand that every caregiver's journey is unique. That's why we offer three levels of membership. Our Premium membership provides access to all support groups, speaker recordings, and other resources mentioned earlier, ensuring that caregivers receive the tailored support they need, when they need it. At OPLM, parents discover the support they need to navigate from crisis to healing, knowing their never alone in this journey, whether their children facing mental health challenges that have gone sideways into substance use, eating disorder, self-harm, suicidal ideation, etc.
