It claims to reduce bandwidth costs by up to 90 percent by creating a peer-to-peer network. In December 2013 it was acquired by Yahoo, Inc. Before they were acquired, they received funding from Mozilla Ignite, Lightspeed Ventures summer program, and StartX.
