About Penn State University
Penn State University is Pennsylvania’s only land-grant institution and its largest public university. It focuses on teaching, research, and public service to support residents and collaborates with various partners to share and apply knowledge. Penn State has 24 campuses throughout the state, making it accessible to most Pennsylvanians. Most campuses offer the first two years of undergraduate education and some four-year degree programs. Over half of the students who graduate from University Park begin their studies at another Penn State campus. The university includes several specialized schools, such as the Penn State College of Medicine, The Dickinson School of Law, World Campus (online programs), and the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
