Established in 2020, Playgreen is the leading sports sustainability initiative dedicated to recycling and repurposing tennis and padel balls. As the global beacon of sustainability in sports, we collaborate with Sweden's elite tennis and padel clubs, ensuring balls are not just discarded, but repurposed. Our efforts significantly cut down on waste and the need for new production, actively addressing pollution and the ongoing climate crisis. Through innovation, we give old ball rubber a second life in various applications, epitomizing our dedication to a circular economy. With approximately 320 million balls used annually, resulting in nearly 30,000 tons of rubber waste (97% of which typically ends up as combustible waste), Playgreen is on a mission to rewrite this story.
